Loved the article. I think, and I believe you'll agree, that friendships are groups as well and just realized I've been exhibiting one of the dysfunctional behaviors in a friendship presently. Enjoy the insight I get from your stuff.
You bring up an excellent point. Friendships are still human groups, and include many of the same push-pull effects. I am glad this one helped you!!
I've lived in more untrusting environments where 'trust is valued' than true trust where the topic never really comes up.
