If Your Group Cannot Afford Infiltration, Start Here
Frameworks for vetting, trust, infiltration, and structural resilience
Groups and teams fail more than they succeed, and that’s because they trust the wrong people, misread motives, and react too late to manipulation, drift, information leaks, and internal decay. Even when they sense something is wrong, they often lack the language and framework to understand what they are seeing, let alone stop it.
That is what this publication is about.
The Shepard Scale is for leaders, organizers, and serious operators who need stronger internal systems. I write about counterintelligence doctrine, operational discipline, personnel risk, trust architecture, and the structural failures that break groups and the people in them.
If you lead a group that cannot afford preventable failure, you are in the right place. Subscribe for free to get the diagnostic frameworks.
About Me
I’m Kit Perez, a counterintelligence analyst specializing in deception detection, vetting, and group dynamics in high-risk environments. I hold master’s degrees in Intelligence Studies and Trauma Counseling, along with advanced training in behavioral analysis, interrogation, and statement analysis. For nearly two decades, I’ve written, taught, and consulted on how individuals and organizations recognize manipulation, build resilient systems, and make better decisions under pressure.
I created The Shepard Scale because I kept seeing the same failure repeated: good people with good intentions who trusted the wrong people, misunderstood the real threat, and reacted too late. This publication brings together counterintelligence, psychology, trauma, behavioral science, and practical doctrine into one integrated system, helping you think more clearly, vet more effectively, and build organizations that can withstand deception from both outside and within.
